Hoe ziet jouw rol eruit? - What will your job look like?

The head office of FrieslandCampina is located in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. For this location at the Sales & Operation Planning Hub for Infant Milk Formula (S&OP-Hub IFT), part of the Business Group Ingredients, we are looking to hire a:

 Result driven, pro-active and customer-oriented Supply Network Planner

 As Supply Network Planner you are responsible for creating the optimal supply network plan (operational and tactical horizon) for your product portfolio. The supply network plan is based on the demand, taking into consideration service level agreements, planning parameters, inventory levels, raw material supply, strategic importance, revenues and costs in order to realize the requested performance while maximizing value for FrieslandCampina. In this function you are working closely together with other disciplines like Make, Sales, Finance, Marketing and other Hubs.

 You are part of a team of 5 network planners, responsible for the supply network planning of 6 Infant Milk Food dryers and 5 Packaging lines on 3 FC locations (Beilen, Bedum, Borculo) as well as 3 outsource partners in NL, France and Portugal.

You report directly to the manager Supply Network Planning and are part of a professional team within the Ingredients Supply Chain Organization. Day-to-day work will vary across the week between Amersfoort and the production locations, depending on the planning portfolio.

The key-responsibilities for this position are:

  • Prepare and optimize the operational and tactical (1-18 months) planning for part of the IMF product portfolio. Prepare and optimize continuously the plan by balancing demand, inventories and production and packaging capacities.
  • Identify constraints and opportunities as input for S&OP. Participate in the tactical supply review as part of the S&OP process. Perform scenario analyses and support financial decision making for own scope of planning.
  • Discuss plant performance, maintenance plans and capacities with your plants periodically.
  • Lead and/or participate in assigned projects in and outside the hub.
  • Improve and optimize planning, initiate and come up with new approaches for procedures, processes and tools taking into account the full supply chain.
  • Collaborate and communicate constructively with the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

To be a successful in this position, you are/have:

  • Master Degree preferably within Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Technical Business Administration;
  • 2-4 years working experience;
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, planning and inventory management principles such as S&OP, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, MPS and MRP;
  • Strong analytical and communicative skills;
  • Knowledge of Planning Systems, like SAP R/3, APO DP/SNP, BW;
  • Ability to provide robust plans, solving the short term issues, but taking the long term perspective in mind as well.
