About the role

As a Legal Process Manager you will organise, manage and improve client delivery of our complex legal projects. We will rely on you to coordinate the right mix of people, process and technology to ensure excellent client service. Continuous improvement of services by implementing or developing new technology and ways of working will be an important part of your job. Your role will be directly client-facing and will include:

  • Defining the scope and method of project delivery of legal projects in close collaboration with our lawyers, clients and other stakeholders;
  • Set up the processes, tools and teams to facilitate seamless delivery of projects within agreed scope, budget and timelines;
  • Taking up the coordination of our most complex matters, including pro-active engagement with our clients, co-counsel, counterparties, suppliers and other stakeholders;
  • Coordinate data review in regulatory investigations and disputes with the use of e-discovery platforms and providers;
  • Engage with lawyers, clients and colleagues from other staff departments to map legal processes, identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement and propose solutions;
  • Embedding or developing tools and other new ways of working in our organisation to improve client service;
  • Providing project management training to lawyers and guiding and coaching other colleagues in optimising and innovating (legal) processes.

Who are you?

You

  • have a strong affinity with technology and data, process improvement and innovation;
  • are result-oriented and have a getting-the-job-done mentality.

The ideal candidate for this position has the following qualifications:

  • WO degree certificate and over 5 years of relevant work experience in a project management role;
  • Experience with data analytics, process improvement (Lean) and/or Agile ways of working;
  • Knowledge of (legal) tech, data review and e-disovery platforms (Relativity) or a keen interest to develop in this area;
  • good command of English.
