Purpose of the Role:
We are currently looking for exceptional AI and ML experts to join our growing team in Staines-upon-Thames. This is a good opportunity to work on next generation mobile devices from Samsung and solve industry relevant problems.
We need enthusiastic researchers with a strong academic background and experience in Ontologies, Knowledge Representation and Data Management. The candidate will contribute to the research, specification and development of next generation query answering systems.
Key Functions:
Samsung are looking for a new team member who is passionate about ontologies, Semantic Web technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL, etc.), triplestores and graph databases. The role involves the following (not limited to):
The candidate will be working with other internal Samsung teams, both locally and globally, in addition to external parties to structure and plan collaboration projects with collaboration partners.
The candidate will be expected to leverage their knowledge and expertise in Semantic Web, Ontology Reasoning and Ontology-based Query Answering to design, implement and evaluate novel and efficient reasoning algorithms.
Through this position the candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to the development of future Samsung products and build a strong network within Samsung, while maintaining connection with related research communities.
