Ability Matters Group is a leading provider of specialist prosthetic, orthotic, and mobility services throughout the UK and Ireland. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, we work continuously to deliver the highest standard of care possible to ensure customer needs are met. This is a newly created position for a methodical and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join the business.

THE ROLE:

  • To monitor and maintain Quality Assurance and Safeguarding Assurance registers and action logs and reports any non-compliance to the senior management. This includes but is not limited to the following; Incidents, Professional Registration, Risk and Complaints.
  • Maintain and update related company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and record procedure improvements following learning from quality and safeguarding monitoring processes.
  • To report (both internal and external) on performance when required.
  • To monitor patient satisfaction questionnaire responses, ensuring that key performance indicators are met for response and satisfaction rates. Complete regular patient improvement plans to continually improve patient care based upon feedback.
  • To conduct, monitor and feedback staff surveys, suggesting improvements based upon feedback.
  • To monitor the organization’s website for quality and safeguarding issues and make amendments as directed by senior management
  • To attend clinical and board governance meetings to present quality and safeguarding reports

The role is based full-time in Leicester, however given the geographically dispersed operations of the Group, occasional travel will be required within the UK.

THE PERSON:

The role would ideally suit a candidate with a clinical background such as nursing or AHP who has an interest in quality aspects of patient care.

We are looking for a methodical team player who has:

  • Recognised Quality Control qualification
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to demonstrate how they advanced the quality control function and performance
