ASML’s Development & Engineering (D&E) DUV sector is responsible for the specification, design and integration of the ASML DUV products. The Optical Column (OC) Industrialization group is responsible for industrialization of these products by embedding operational requirements (Cycle time, Manufacturability, Reliability, Cost) early in the design phase of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Volume Optical Column products.
Our mission is to improve the quality and reliability of volume and new products, to secure its manufacturability and serviceability and to secure the lessons learned for the future.
We support this mission by being the interface between the Development Projects and Suppliers/Manufacturing/Customer support.
Job Mission
Your mission is to take ownership of one or more multi-disciplinary Qualification tool developments, upgrades or issues and secure robust Qualification tool availability at suppliers and ASML. Key in finishing the qualification tool development is meeting functional-, sustainability- and human safety requirements
Job Description
-Responsible for maintaining and upgrading of all Optical Column Qualification tools at suppliers and ASML which are used for production qualification of modules delivered to ASML.
-Developing new Qualification tools: Early involvement during the design phase by taking the lead in defining requirements and writing specifications.
-Pro-active support: Make and execute plans for SW/HW upgrades on Qualification tools
-Reactive support: Hands on troubleshooting and solving issues on existing Qualification tools.
-Supplier development: Train the suppliers which have Qualification tools such that they are able to provide basic support of the Qualification tools themselves.
-Contribute in improving Way of Working
-The holder of this position reports to the Industrialization Group Leader
Education
-Bachelor or master degree in Mechanical, Electrical engineering or Applied Physics is preferred
Experience
-At least 2 years of experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes
-Troubleshooting complex mechatronic systems
-Working in multi-disciplinary teams
-Work experience in Industrial Engineering is a pre
-Knowledge of specific ASML processes, SAFe and an optical background is a pre
-Affinity to software is a must
