Your role as Workstudent 3D Modeler & VR Support

As a 3D Modeler & VR Support you’ll create 3D models for 3D print, VR and other software. In addition to creating this content you will also support the team in creating new software applications for different departments.

Regular activities

  • Simplify high detail CAD models into 3D print / VR ready models
  • Support in creating VR functionality’s
  • Work in close contact with Design Engineers, Operators and external parties
  • Print and design 3D models

We ask

  • Experience with 3D CAD software (preferably Solidworks)
  • Interest in 3D printing (Cura, Ultimaker S5), tinkering, model making, rapid prototyping
  • Interest and/or experience with 3D modeling software (Preferably Blender)
  • Interest and/orexperience with game engines (Preferably Unity 3D)
  • Skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written

About the Data Services team

The Data Services department is a relatively new department at Ampelmann, with a strong focus on developing and implementing virtual technologies that help optimise the company’s operations and value-add for the client. The team consists of a Data Engineer, Project Manager, Simulation Engineer and a VR Developer. In this role, you will report to the VR Developer.
