Our site management teams are integral in making sure construction is completed within agreed timelines, cost parameters, safety and to our customers' satisfaction. As a site manager, you will be accountable for all aspects of the operational house build process.

This is an exciting opportunity to train to become a qualified Site Manager by joining the Taylor Wimpey Management Trainee programme and is perfect for someone either leaving school or college with A levels or a Construction related qualification or someone who has already gained their degree in a Construction Management focused discipline and wants to develop their experience.

To be successful as a Trainee Site Manager your strengths will be the ability to problem solve, manage multiple tasks as well as the ability to build relationships with others as you will need to work effectively across teams.

The Management Trainee development programme is a structured development programme which runs for up to 3 years.

The ideal candidate:

The Site Manager Trainee role best suits those who are looking to start their career and wish to develop into a fully qualified technical professional. Whether you are joining after school or college or having completed your degree, our development programme is designed to get you there. We ask for the following minimum qualification levels and requirements:

  • 5 GCSE’s grades A*-C/9-4 OR Industry experience
  • Computer Literacy
  • Full driving licence or working towards a licence and access to a car preferred
  • Comfortable working outside and at heights
  • CSCS Card Holder preferred but not essential
  • Awareness of Health & Safety
