We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Administrator to join our warehouse, working 40 hours per week.

Monday to Friday 10.00am till 6.30pm

The role of fleet administrator is to provide day to day administrative support to the fleet department. You will maintain accurate records relating to the company fleet and grey fleet whilst undertaking the allocated tasks and responsibilities, promptly, accurately and making efficiencies where possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arranging the maintenance for the fleet vehicles
  • Managing breakdowns efficiently and promptly
  • Liaising with delivery drivers confirming work and location
  • Ensuring all MOT certificates are up to date and servicing is organised
  • Ensuring all drivers are covered by insurance
  • Update MID database
  • Maintaining a full record of drivers details including licence mandates
  • Investigate all fleet accidents and report accordingly
  • Processing any penalty charge notification’s and ensuring all appeals are dealt with efficiently
  • Dealing with suppliers- hiring vehicle and booking agency cover when required
  • Monitoring temperature controlled vehicles and reporting defects to suppliers promptly
  • De-briefing drivers upon return to warehouse

To be successful in this role you must have excellent written and verbal communication, a good phone manner, excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages including excel and good attention to detail. In addition to this you must be flexible in your approach, learning the functions and skills of the department.
