Reporting to the Director of Product Management, Digital Solutions, this Product Management role is tasked with leading the efforts in the EU for Ormco’s digital suite of products, including Spark Aligners and Insignia. This position will directly supervise the team digital dental technicians (2) as well as ensure that the efforts of the team are aligned and support the global product management strategies. The manager will also collaborate with the EU Director of Commercial growth to ensure that the EU based digital team is providing the required support to the Digital Technical Specialists (DTS’s) and Sales Team in the EU.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supervise current digital dental technician team (2) including priority/goal setting and ensuring the efficient and effective support of the digital suite of products
  • Build knowledge of the digital product offering, processes and customer experience needed to identify current opportunities of improvement in efficiency and accuracy for digital team.
  • Conduct VOC/market research as needed to identify current customer barriers and to assess the value of potential future product improvements/ new products
  • Collaborate with EU Director of Commercial Growth to effectively support the DTS and Sales team in the EU and to ensure the transfer of product knowledge and provide training as needed
  • Develops and provides product training content and technical expertise. Owns all development of materials or mediums to support that effort.
  • Liaise with Director of Product Management (Digital) to ensure that the EU team is aligned with the global strategic direction and priorities
  • Create well supported business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and user stories.

  • Produces competitive analysis and counter strategies for assigned product line.-
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and/or lectures (clinical in nature) to upper management and customers.
  • Create and maintain product backlog and prioritize with cross functional and customer input/buy-in.


  • Familiar with domestic and international registration process for Class II medical devices.
  • Strong internal and external customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups, a demonstrated leader.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
  • Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and statistical analyses
  • Presentation & public speaking skills.
  • Proven experiencing of managing products in various lifecycle stages.
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Accomplished in developing highly accurate global sales forecasts.
  • Strong strategic thinker with ability to execute on those plans methodically. 


  • Required Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university.
  • Minimum four years Product Management experience and/or training.
  • Preferred dental industry experience.
  • Preferred Class II Medical Device Experience

Travel & Location

Approximately 25 % travel. Position will be based in Amersfoort, Netherlands
