Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities

Working as a Payroll Team Lead you will be responsible for five payroll specialist working predominately on central government clients. You will also be responsible and accountable for the payroll service delivered to the allocated clients within their team as described in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and for ensuring each payroll is delivered in accordance with each client’s SLA and contract.

You will help support your team through training and development that is offered by CGI to work in collaboration with your team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

In order to be successful, you will need to be numerate and articulate with outstanding communication skills and with an eye for detail. Experience of Microsoft Office Suite is preferable. Professional payroll or accountancy qualifications (or relevant experience) will be advantageous.

You must have a payroll experience working within a fast-paced environment and be driven and passionate about your work. You must have the ability to think independently and strive for service excellence. Also it is essential for you to have been in a client facing role, managing a team and driving process improvement.
