As a graduate on our Reinsurance Development Program, REACH, you’ll be working as part of one of the world’s leading reinsurance advisors. Here, you’ll gain insight into how we ensure our clients have the right protection in place, so that when the unfortunate or unexpected hits, it’s not catastrophic for their business. As well as offering tailored training courses and on-the-job learning, the program enables you to achieve professional qualifications in either the ACII Actuarial exams or CFA Level One.

We have opportunities for you to join our two-year development program in any one of four business segments: Benefits Delivery and Administration; Human Capital and Benefits; Corporate Risk and Broking; or Investment Risk and Reinsurance. Alternatively, you could experience life at the heart of our business by exploring opportunities in Corporate teams such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and IT.

Expectations

From day one, you’ll go into a real role with real responsibilities, giving you exposure to client assignments and enabling you to build up valuable experience and skills. Over the course of the program, you’ll have opportunities to gain exposure to different aspects of our business and will be able to gain a solid understanding of what we do and how we do it. This is underpinned throughout with technical training and professional qualifications supported by senior leaders.

Development

The aim of the program is to help you gain the industry experience, technical knowledge and consulting skills you need to thrive here. Whichever area you join us in, and wherever in the world you are based, the work you’ll be doing will constantly stretch your ability to analyze data, think creatively and find original solutions to client challenges. You’ll also have opportunities to network with senior leaders and take part in group exercises with your graduate colleagues.

Candidates

Graduates from all kinds of backgrounds flourish at Willis Towers Watson. So we don’t mind what degree subject you’ve specialized in, as long as you have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (U.S.) or 2:1 or higher (U.K.). Essential qualities we look for include intellectual curiosity, a passion for business and a desire to keep on challenging yourself and driving your career forward. You’ll also need to be an outstanding communicator who knows how to cultivate relationships and work effectively in teams.

Benefits

As well as getting a competitive salary from day one, you’ll enjoy paid time off and an annual paid volunteering day. Other aspects of our total rewards programs vary by business/geography so please ask your recruiter for more program-specific information.
