At Cambridge Cognition we’re changing the landscape of mental health by combining software and science. Our software enables gold standard research and efficient clinical trials, accelerating effective treatment development and helping to improve patient outcomes in conditions affecting brain health.
We’re a growing and ambitious company and are looking for engineers who want to help us in our mission to build interactive and innovative digital cognitive assessment technologies. Our current engineers come from a range of different backgrounds including computer science, maths, history and music.
A growth mindset, problem solving and curiosity are the most important attributes, although a slight obsession with coffee or baking is pretty key as well.
We care about our Employees and the Community
We have 4 mental health first-aiders, a Slack #wellbeing channel and all employees have a subscription to a wellbeing app.
We encourage everyone to develop their skills and share new knowledge. We always share useful information at sprint review meetings. All employees have a subscription to PluralSight and are encouraged to spend time each a week developing their technical skills.
We regularly take lunchtime walks around our beautiful village and its surrounding countryside. For those wishing to run at lunch or commute in by bike there are showers provided!
Many of our employees are also parents. We understand and support the need for flexibility. We like to promote our employees internally and we offer standard perks like pension, medical insurance, life assurance and 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.
We believe in giving back to local communities and we regularly organise events to raise money for local charities. Most years we participate in a charity challenge and previous years have seen us complete the Three Peaks Challenge and walk the length of Hadrian’s Wall.
