About the job

Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Analytical Consultant, you'll conduct exploratory analysis as well as in-depth modelling on data, translating your data-driven insights into concrete business recommendations. This is an analysis-oriented and creative position that requires a sharp, rigorous mind and an entrepreneurial spirit. Working on multiple projects at a time, you will maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail while finding creative ways to take on individual client needs. You'll also brainstorm, develop and refine compelling, customised sector analysis and opportunity forecasts, then deliver them to the Sales team in advance of client-facing meetings.

Your primary goal as an Analytical Consultant will be to refine how Google positions our products in an integrated, strategic way, in order to achieve strategic objectives.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop smart, integrated, research-based marketing collateral and presentations to enhance Google's reputation with clients as a consultant and trusted partner.
  • Acquire and share deep knowledge of the Dutch advertising industry, its landscape, client products, and key business challenges that affect the client and industry.
  • Drive thought leadership and develop high quality presentations for industry conferences and events.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Account Management and Sales Operations teams to support the development and the testing of tools, templates and frameworks to streamline and scale client analyses.

Though Google has grown a lot since it opened in 1998, we still maintain a small company feel. At lunchtime, almost everyone eats in the office café, sitting at whatever table has an opening and enjoying conversations with Googlers from different teams. Our commitment to innovation depends on everyone being comfortable sharing ideas and opinions. Every employee is a hands-on contributor, and everyone wears several hats. Because we believe that each Googler is an equally important part of our success, no one hesitates to pose questions directly to anyone, at any level, in the company.
