The Stryker Clinical Support Specialist responsibilities include directly supporting all Stryker products associated with primary and revision Joint replacement. This role within Stryker UK will focus on servicing and supporting our clinical customers to strive for best in class specialist support with procedural excellence.

Additional responsibilities include working with the local sales team to coordinate training and events and managing day to day requirements of business support, ensuring Stryker delivers exceptional levels of service to our broad range of customers. As the role develops, more collaboration with our Mako robotic product specialists will provide a key requirement within this part of our business.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

Account Support:

  • Collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and local sales team to drive business through key account management in identified accounts in the region.
  • Service existing customer base within the theatre and clinical environment
  • Provide theatre and other HCP staff training on Stryker products
  • Understand the clinical application of the broader Stryker portfolio to offer our customers the best possible solutions
  • Conducting trials and evaluations of product in theatre and clinical environment as required
  • Support the RSM in the development and management of key accounts in the region including the preparation of tenders and business presentations
  • Marketing & Communication
  • Work in collaboration with Product Managers.
  • Work in collaboration with our Robotic Mako Product Specialists (MPS) in the field.
  • Develop and drive customer faculty engagement across the division.
  • Manage exhibition presence, commitment and current impact and ROI.
  • Assess and implement change to existing customer education offering.
  • Lead compliance submissions and any subsequent documentation requirements for identified meetings, education and congresses
  • Involvement in external training courses and educational events from the perspective of needs analysis, design and delivery of the course including all associated administration and management.
  • Identify and manage potential faculty from KOL database to enhance and support education programs and congress events.
  • Support the rollout of new products as and when applicable.
  • Provide VOC engagement and feedback.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by RSM/NSM.

  • Experience

  • Theatre experience essential. Minimum 2 years’ experience of theatres from a sales or HCP perspective
  • Commercial acumen essential. Must have awareness of budgetary and cost issues surrounding theatres and surgical procedures
  • Demonstration of strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key accounts, also to develop new KOL centres as the business dictates.
  • Ability to conduct high level business discussions with Hospital Management and Procurement Managers.
  • Experience of mentoring team members, team training and assisting the RSM in ad hoc projects.
  • Computer skills, MS Office.
  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media
  • Workshop/demonstration skills inc. Anatomy and physiology
