This is an apprentice internship for a bachelor or master student in Supply Chain or Logistics who would like to manage the Upgrades, Installs and Relocations Pool of the Supply Chain Department.

Job Mission

Customer Supply Chain Management, part of ASML’s SCM division, is responsible for all customer supply chain activities (machines deliveries, upgrades at customer sites and relocations of older systems). Professional management of returnable and re-usable materials is a key priority within the CSCM team of Upgrades, Installs & Relocations (UIR). The business impact is significant: efficient and smart pool management of returnable, and re-usable materials contributes greatly to cost of goods reduction and prevention of capital and operational expenditures.

Job Description

You will act as an UIR Poolmanager. Core responsibility of the UIR-Poolmanager is to make sure that all needed Transport tools are in time available in the agreed locations at lowest costs to support ASML's Commercial events. To do this you need to:

  • Monitor the poolsize of Transport tools to ensure support on agreed capabilities. 
  • Create a combined planning overview by addressing all demands from your stake-holders: Customer demand, Transport times, Factory output, System delays, Poolsize, etc. 
  • While carrying and fulfilling these operational requirements, you will professionalize together with your team the means and methods to support the business, act as sparring partner with your teamlead and team of pool managers.


You are a Bachelor in Supply Chain or Logistics with the following personality /competences:

  • Drive for results, act under high pressure
  • Common sense and pragmatic, able to convince and influence others informally
  • Sap knowledge is a nice to have
  • Excellent communication in English and Dutch

This assignment is for 3- 6 Months and for 4 or 5 days per week. The preferred starting date is asap.

Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.
