An amazing new opportunity has opened at Carat! We are recruiting for an Account Manager Manager to join our vibrant and industry-defining media agency based in central Manchester. The Account Manager will be a core member of the client service team delivering high levels of client servicing at both Group and Divisional levels. The position reports into the Operations Director for the client team and will have support from a Media Assistant. You will be managing and delivering client expectations for the clients central marketing team, formulation and implementation of group media plans and bringing the best out of Carat investment teams. You will be providing RAMs and divisional contacts with media guidance and direction for the clients central and North regions and providing support for the senior management team on the clients business to ensure the account runs efficiently and profitably.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leads on smaller client accounts and runs client meetings smoothly
  • Manages the quality and delivery of clients’ integrated communications plans including timelines and budget, overcoming obstacles to do so
  • Ensures that channel briefs are effective, oversees the delivery of ongoing media plans and works with specialist teams to optimise performance
  • Reviews and adapts client plans using understanding of the clients’ business to drive greater margin for DAN and value for the client through innovation and different and better ways of working
  • Supports Associate Director to deliver solutions to client briefs that clients are going to see as innovative and creative
  • Sets an example to team in keeping abreast of industry thinking and trends
  • Effectively manages the workloads and quality standards of team members, using a coach approach to support their development and independence
  • Allocates team resource to ensure delivery of data, information, and projects Ensures team members receive feedback, performance reviews, and career development plans in a timely and impactful manner
  • Coordinates invoicing and payments process in line with contractual terms agreed; Oversees processes to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Identifies areas for income growth, improved profit margins & effectively manages invoices payable/debtors
