3D Hubs is disrupting manufacturing. We automate processes for 20,000+ Engineers in industries like Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices and Consumer Electronics. Our Sales team is growing, fast, and we have an organic vacuum between the Lead Generation Team and our regional Account Managers. So we're hiring Account Executives with Manufacturing knowledge. What am I selling?

The Digital Revolution that the Industrial Revolution has been waiting on for 200 years. 3D Hubs provides quick, easy, online, affordable access to a network of 3D printing, CNC & Injection Molding services. As a Junior Account Executive at 3D Hubs you'll be responsible for managing the sales pipeline for up to 100 different client accounts across the UK, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain...and anywhere else that you and your team can find leads.

Who am I selling to?

We aim for Engineers in high volume manufacturers and their suppliers. Good examples include the Automotive or Medical Device industry, but there's really no limit on where your leads might come from! If you think we can get €3k for a bespoke tool for a vending machine company in Italy - go for it! Or maybe a previous client has referred a colleague who needs a custom-made Helicopter harness in Hungary? It could happen. Our platform is versatile and we're still discovering the full extent of what Engineers around the world can use it for. Note: Almost all of our Business is handled in English but multi-linguals make up 80% of our company

Our Ideal Candidate?

You'll have a Degree, or possibly even internship experience, in engineering or manufacturing services. But for some reason you have 'fallen into' a Sales role and discovered that you really enjoy engaging with other Engineers in a commercial capacity. And you're good at it! You win customers over easily, identify their needs quickly, and you seem to be able to 'close' your encounters without effort whilst others struggle to understand the wider process they are a part of. In essence, you have 'Sales Instincts'. There's no Degree for what you know how to do in a conversation and you take pride in directly impacting the success of the company you represent.

What you'll do:

  • Our Goal: To become the smartest Manufacturing Platform on Earth [We'll target the other planets later]
  • Your Goal: To introduce our newest customers to all of 3D Hubs capabilities and accelerate their use of our services
  • Identify growth opportunities quickly in a Customer's Journey and help us to generate the maximum partnership possible
  • Aim for commission success with transparent margin targets that will comprise 40% of your OTE [We reward our Winners!]

What it takes:

  • 1-2 years experience in Sales, Sales Support, Lead Generation or Business Development
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering [Industrial, Mechanical, etc] or Technical Marketing
  • A natural rapport-building instinct, a strong numerical ability and a good memory
  • Good knowledge of Business-to-Business sales processes; Procurement, Sales Pipelines, etc
  • Dedication to learning EVERYTHING about 3D printing and Injection Molding over the next 12 months
  • Bonus: Native English; Manufacturing experience / internships; Familiarity with 3D / CAD / BIM software
