The opportunity:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a highly motivated PMO team that provides a consistent and credible service across UK IT.

The team is doing some great things for employees across its workplace, and here’s just a few things which the team has put in place:

  • Demand v Capacity model that directly links to the Service Catalogue that drives the approach to team resourcing
  • PMO Champions that own and drive forward specific areas for optimisation and continuous improvement
  • PMO career paths that define the role dimensions, skills, experience and behaviours needed to meet year on year objectives and support career development and growth
  • A clear focus on engagement, collaboration and sharing across the PMO team (multiple locations), Portfolio Management and Finance teams
  • Representation and engagement within Project Management and PMO forums within UK IT

This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will perform all local Project PMO related tasks and deliver them to the Global and UK reporting schedules and standards. These include Finance tracking, Risks, Issues, Governance, reporting, meeting support and change management.
  • You will be responsible for helping set up and maintain the programme/project repository.
  • You will work with external 3rd party suppliers as appropriate.
  • You will have the ability to prioritise own Project tasks and objectives in response to both internal and external demands.
  • You will engage with the PMO team and take on a Champion role to drive forward continuous improvements.
  • Ad hoc MI.

Your skills and experience:

  • Established PMO Analyst with a comprehensive understanding of all approaches and techniques
  • Supports small projects of low to medium complexity, typically under £1m budget
  • Single to multiple supplier engagements
  • Stakeholders from one or more functions
  • Experience – 1+ years in PMO
  • No specific certification but would be preferred
