What is Restructuring at EY?

When companies are underperforming or in distress, we advise them – and other affected parties – on the best course of action. Through independent analysis, we help them either get back on track or go through insolvency procedures like administration or receivership.

This programme is offered in: London

What will you be doing?

  • Analysing economic and business challenges for major companies
  • Taking ownership of complex, sometimes high-profile projects
  • Communicating with colleagues and clients across global locations

Are you eligible to apply?

If you have an honours degree (in any subject) by the time the programme starts, this is for you.

Professional qualificationswith ICAS

Three-yearprogramme

Dependent on location, salaries start from £21,800 per year

Level 7 Apprenticeship* in Accountancy and Taxation (equivalent to a master’s degree) *Please note this applies to English office locations only.

How’s it structured?

There are lots of choices for where your career can develop during our Restructuring programme, so we’ll give you all the help you need to decide which path is right for you. First things first, we’ll bring you up-to-speed through a company induction and then you’ll join your team. As well as getting to work on real client projects, you may start studying for a professional qualification with ICAS or a similar institute and may also get the chance to travel for projects and take part in internal training sessions.

As you progress through the programme, you’ll take on more responsibilities, broadening your transactions knowledge, sector understanding and professional skills. And, if you’ve done a good job you may find yourself promoted by the time the programme’s finished.
