Role Responsibilities

  • Shooting, processing and retouching product imagery to a daily minimum target
  • Work alongside the team and other photographers to create high quality and consistent images for ecommerce
  • Ensuring colour between images and the physical product is consistent across collections and matches back to product
  • Retouching still product images to a consistent and high standard
  • Ensuring imagery is finalised in line with the product launch schedule and meeting any required deadlines
  • Maintain brand consistency across all product ranges
  • Maintain high standards of shooting and ensure we are able to deliver imagery to clients specifications as well as our own
  • Regularly reviewing image at point of go live to ensure products are being presented to the customer at the highest standard and take action where necessary
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties for the creative teams as and when necessary
  • Assisting other photographers with retouching and shooting overflow products

Administration:

  • Stick to a shoot schedule to ensure we are on track with delivery of images
  • Ensuring all folders are organised and managed efficiently, making sure that all imagery is named correctly and is easy to locate

Communication:

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the team and other departments within the company
  • Ensuring that samples are organised effectively for the department, requesting the necessary samples from other departments as and when necessary
  • Ability and readiness to interface with all levels and departments within the company

Research & Brand Awareness:

  • Showing initiative and creativity within the team
  • Being constantly aware of what else is in the marketplace across all channels and feeding back relevant information and ideas
  • Bringing new ideas and understanding how these could be implemented for Skinnydip whilst keeping within the brand guidelines

Role Expectations:

  • To be keeping track of all ongoing projects & imagery
  • To be effectively managing your time, ensuring all deadlines are kept
  • To keep line managers aware of any delays
  • To be a problem solver, finding effective solutions and actioning them.
  • To be self-led and self-motivated to efficiently manage all products samples
  • To take responsibility of all photography equipment ensuring they are treated with care
  • To ensure that the studio is kept clean and tidy
  • Have excellent retouching skills including liquifying, color correction
  • Be willing to do a large amount of image retouching when needed
  • Assisting other in-house photographers on styled shoots
  • Preparing and organizing products to shoot for other in-house photographers
