Reporting to the Regional Recruitment Manager, the placement is a combined role that will require the candidate to support the Recruitment, University Partnerships and Marketing teams with marketing campaigns, copywriting, organising events and recruitment activities. This role requires an individual to be interactive with candidates and guide them through the assessment centre, ensuring tests and interviews run smoothly and on time. Furthermore, you will provide highly efficient administrative support to the Leeds based team for which you will need to be task orientated, extremely organised, able to multitask, have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to manage the high volume of work, prioritise work in line with the needs of the department, be a team player and effectively communicate with all levels of seniority within the business. They will be an integral part of FDM, responsible for assisting with growing the FDM brand in the North and attracting high-calibre graduates to join the FDM Graduate Programme.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide highly efficient and responsive administrative support to the Graduate Recruitment and University Partnerships Team by ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and that specific tasks are given priority in line with specific team / business requirements
  • Facilitate assessment days
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the FDM business model
  • Contribute to the facilitation of mobile assessment centres
  • Organise and attend various marketing and recruitment events for staff, clients, universities and potential employees
  • Develop a list of contacts and networks to raise brand awareness and to promote FDM’s Women in IT initiative in the North
  • Contribute engaging copy/content for client newsletters, consultant newsletters, staff magazines, sales and recruitment brochures
  • Core administrative tasks include: scanning vetting documentation and ensuring compliance with internal requirements, creating and maintaining internal systems for new in-house recruits, collating documentation for internal assessment days & recruitment events, print and prepare Welcome Packs, log and file Signed Offer letters, ensuring all training files are complete and up-to-date, respond to ad hoc enquiry emails, etc.
  • Establish, build and grow relationships with internal FDM staff through effective communication, consistency and the provision of a highly professional service.
  • Complete any other work as required by the management team.
