A school in Kent is looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Science graduate to support Key Stages 3 and 4 in their Science classes as a Teaching Assistant. The school has been Ofsted rated as ‘Outstanding’ and is led by a progressive and cohesive Senior Leadership that believes in smaller class sizes and more time dedicated to the students. They pride themselves on having happy and successful students which they have achieved through a nurturing and pupil-centred atmosphere. The school offers a Teacher Training Graduate Scheme and you would have the full support of the staff there and access to all of the resources and CPD that you need to become a wonderful Teacher.

As a Teaching Assistant, you would be expected to adopt the school’s views of inclusivity, social responsibility and understanding. You must have high expectations of the pupils there and be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm for Science to them. You will be supporting the Key Stage 4 students with their GSCE preparation and for this you must have a clear understanding and be up to date with the UK Science curriculum (this is something that we can help you with).
