Graduate Teaching Assistant – English Graduate

If this sounds like you then this Graduate Teaching Assistant role for English Graduates could be the perfect opportunity to take your first step in to education!

Graduate Teaching Assistant – English Graduate

  • Paid £350 – £450 per week
  • Role suitable for a high-achieving English Graduates (2.1 or above)
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, long-term role
  • Fabulous experience prior to teacher training
  • Role based in Havering

What will you be doing as a Graduate Teaching Assistant?

  • Collaborating within the English department
  • Observing outstanding lessons
  • As your confidence grows, you can take on cover lessons
  • Earning whilst you learn from experienced and outstanding teachers
  • Deliver your own 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
  • Using your knowledge within either English Language and/or Literature to support the English department
  • Support KS3, KS4 and KS5

What will you need?

  • English related degree, 2.1 or 1st
  • Passion and enthusiasm to work in education
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Previous experience working with young people
