Different disciplines in the Graduate Programme

Join the Shell Graduate Programme and we’ll match you to a discipline that fits with your skills and ambitions. We have many options available:

  • Within our Commercial Business/Corporate Functions area, you’ll work with some of our sharpest minds to drive our growth and performance. Areas include Finance, Contracting & Procurement, HR, Communications, Supply Chain and Marketing/Sales in Downstream Commercial.
  • In the Technical area you’ll join our world-class technical team, working on some of the most exciting projects in the world. Whether you are an Engineer or Scientist, you can start in disciplines like Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Control Technology, Production Operations, R&D or Geoscience.

What you’ll need

  • A university Master's Degree; you’re either a recent graduate or already have some initial experience on your CV.
  • You have the intellectual, analytical, and creative ability to learn quickly; you can identify issues and propose innovative solutions. 
  • You are a high-achiever full of curiosity, self-confidence and organizational skills. 
  • You are a strong communicator who works well within a team, respects others and encourages and supports colleagues.
