WHAT THE JOB IS ALL ABOUT »

As a rapidly growing business, we are looking to grow our IT team to include an individual focused on the business’s IT security.

The role will see you combine prior knowledge and experience, research and working alongside 3rd parties to develop and deliver new processes and technologies that complement Hawk-Eye’s business workflows, whilst enhancing IT security.

RESPONSIBILITIES »

The important things that you will be doing are:

  • Working closely with the Projects Director and the IT Security Committee to select and prioritise the working list of projects that together form the ongoing IT security improvement programme.
  • You will be responsible for:
  • Using data from audits to research, understand and outline project deliverables
  • Researching potential solutions
  • Engaging with experts within Sony IT and 3rd party experts & suppliers to shortlist, develop and test solutions
  • Delivering the solutions that best fit the business
  • Reporting and responding to IT security incidents
  • Documenting and communicating the company’s IT security policies and processes
  • IT security monitoring and reporting.

This role would be ideally suited to a graduate or someone who wants to gain experience in security and wants a wider-ranging and deeper-diving role where you can have real influence and see truly tangible results.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A strong technical grounding, ideally with a degree (2:1 or above) in technology, engineering course or equivalent
  • Strong interest in technology and cyber security
  • Willingness to learn, as you'll need to quickly understand how Hawk-Eye works in order to make a real and appropriate impact
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Great communication skills - you'll be talking to everyone from the top to the bottom of the business and will be responsible for setting out company-wide policies.
  • Ideally, some experience with workstations and servers, Networking, IT security principles.
