Success Graduate Program

This is a unique 12-month experience for diverse graduate talent in various full-time roles within our services and technical sales organizations. It offers continuous development and growth opportunities centered on comprehensive learning paths, direct involvement in customer engagements, coaching and mentoring programs, and challenging career opportunities, all while being part of a global community. For our 2019 intake, we are seeking graduates from all across Europe, though you will be aligned to a base at one of our five main offices in Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Munich, or Paris.

What will you be doing?

A Technical Consultant (TC) focuses on a particular technical area in the wide scope of technical areas the Salesforce platform offers. Examples include implementing cloud integration for major clients, coding custom lightning components or even integrating AI solutions with Einstein Analytics/bots. As such the TC is a key specialist resource collaborating with Strategic project team-members like other Technical Consulting Specialists, Technical Architects, Solution Architects & Consultants and Project / Engagement Managers to deliver digital, transformative and strategic solutions for our customers.

Technical Consultants understand best practices for delivering technical solutions in their field of specialty:

  • Become recognised across the Salesforce ecosystem as the go-to person for your specific area of technical expertise
  • Follow Salesforce technical and functional best practices for implementing solutions
  • Support the strategic projects team in the successful delivery of a technical solution including elements like technical deployments
  • Understanding and supporting, setting up deployment environments in the context of the customer including things like CI/CD and version control
  • Coordinate and work with their Strategic project team members to understand how their own technical expertise fits in with the wider strategic context of the project being executed
  • Achieve utilization targets as defined
  • Escalate issues where customer success is at risk during the project execution
  • Continuously evolve their own knowledge in their area of expertise in particular and in the immediate surrounding areas utilizing the available Salesforce enablement resources
  • Continuously evolve project methodology knowledge and expertise, starting with Salesforce Adaptive Methodology, expanding into industry standard methodology like Agile in general, Scrum, Kanban, etc.

PHASE 1: DEVELOP YOUR BUSINESS AND SALESFORCE SKILLS

As a Success Graduate, your journey will begin with a 2 month onboarding and enablement program, during which you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and business
  • Learn critical soft skills, consulting skills and technical skills you’ll need to develop into your role
  • Build your network with your graduate cohort

Key experiences and programs in this phase:

  • Trailhead
  • Industry recognized Salesforce Certifications
  • Two training bootcamps in a Salesforce hub with your European cohort

PHASE 2: SHADOW SALESFORCE PROFESSIONALS AND LEARN FROM THE BEST

From month three, you will:

  • Build your practical skills and expertise through shadowing and supporting your functional team
  • Take on your own deliverables within team remit
  • Deliver impact through program activities, special projects

Key experiences and programs in this phase:

  • Continuing on Trailhead and Certifications
  • Volunteering and ProBono projects
  • Graduate Committees

PHASE 3: BECOME AN INTEGRAL PART OF YOUR TEAM

From month six, to the end of the program, you will:

  • Make valuable contributions to our customers through direct engagements
  • Carry your own responsibilities as a member of your functional team
  • Engage cross-functionally to drive breadth of competencies or explore other functions

  • Deep-dive Role Workshops
  • Cross-functional shadowing or special projects
  • Monthly Graduate Enablement Days

  • Are graduating in 2018 or 2019 from a technical degree
  • Are passionate about the impact technology can have on the world
  • Are a creative problem-solver and a good communicator

  • Are comfortable with one (Java) or multiple programming languages and keen to hone your skills
  • Are interested to travel and work with customers
  • Amsterdam: Are fluent in English and Dutch, Flemish, Danish or Finnish
