Job Purpose and Scope:

This varied and challenging role will see you primarily assisting the Technical Department with their day to day duties and when required, provide administrative support to the Site Administration team.

Key Tasks and Activities:

  • Track, manage and update weekly the technical document issue schedule, Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP) from the Consultants and Designing Sub-contractors
  • Track and Manage the issue and sign off of material submissions, site design amendments, non-conformance reports, requests for information, requests for builder`s work, samples and similar documentation
  • Track and Manage the collection of evidence for BREEAM submissions ( through IEsTap platform) for the Design Stage and assist in the same for Post-Completion
  • Provide support during Technical meetings by assisting in the preparation and issuing of invites, agendas and minutes
  • Manage the 6 week look ahead meeting programme
  • Assist in the weekly mark-up of the Design Programme
  • Provide support between the Doc Control and Technical Teams
  • Maintain an up to date hard copy set of drawings and specs

General Administrative tasks:

  • Update site administrative information and maintain processes.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as binding, printing and filing as required by the site team.
  • Assist the other project administrators and document controllers as required.

Who we are looking for:

  • Good standard of written and spoken English
  • Excellent MS office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of design and construction roles and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize workload according to demanding deadlines
  • Able to act on their own initiative

Desirable

  • Experience in design and/or construction
  • Local to site
