To assist the Portfolio Development Manager and where necessary the wider European Marketing team, with input into meaningful projects that contribute to continued growth across the Surgical portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Market Assessment. Lead market analysis for 3-5 potential product spaces for Stryker as part of an acquisition strategy. This includes market sizing, competitive overview, growth trends and recent innovations.
  • Business Development: Assist with target company research and key fact sheets to drive decision making on synergy or targets with Stryker, key financial metrics and potential sales.
  • Business Development: Assist with due diligence and integration project tracking and management, to create a standardized process for future marketing acquisitions in Europe

  • General Brand Marketing and Training assistance: projects to vary according to needs

Key activities include:

  • Developing an understanding of select markets and the products they consist of
  • Primary research and secondary data analysis to build a market overview
  • Online and primary research on target companies to build an overview and identify strategic fit
  • Collaboration with PMs and Brand Managers to identify targets and conduct research
  • Project management for due diligence and / or inter-agency activities on the basis of an up-and-coming integration
  • Research of existing DTC marketing campaigns to define requirements and success factors
  • Building a project plan and resourcing, as well as aligned DTC strategy across brands, in collaboration with Brand and Product Managers
  • Other duties as required to support the company's goals and marketing / sales objectives and initiatives. These may include development of marketing or training materials, videos, event planning, meeting planning and communications tasks

Education / Experience Requirement:

  • Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Ideally looking for a career in marketing and / or healthcare

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency; ability to work with and understand Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
