As a Data Analytics working student, you will be improving our advanced DA apps. These apps are used by our consultants to solve important problems at our clients. You will be challenged on your technical skills and your ability to convert business requirements to program languages. It is important that you can work independently, but you will be fully part of our Data Analytics team within Consulting.

Responsibilities

You are in the end phase of your studies, preferably in your master’s program. You like to solve complex puzzles and to make impact with your technical skills.

  • You have finished your bachelor’s degree (or are about to) in computer science, (software) engineering, or a related study program which includes programming assignments with good results.
  • You have experience with AIMMS and/or SQL, Javascript, Python and C#.
  • You combine clear communication and technical knowledge.
  • You are an ambitious team player who enjoys producing quality.
  • You have a good command English (written and spoken).

What the job entails?

You will be a member of the Data Analytics team where you will use your technical skills to further improve our advanced DA apps. Your tasks consist of interpreting business requirements and programming. In addition, you are part of our team responsible for further developing our propositions: financial risk management, process optimisation, executive decision support, performance management, data management, customer analytics, and predictive analytics. As a Data Analytics working student, you will be working in a young, dynamic team with a passion for statistics, programming and storytelling. Your contribution to our DA app development will enable us to solve complex problems and issues and deliver practical advice and insights. This will allow us to produce innovative solutions and superior results. The start date is 1st of April 2019 and we expect you to be available for at least 3 days a week for a period of six months.

Being a working student in the Data Analytics team, means working with inspiring and quantitatively skilled colleagues. The terms of employment include the following:

  • You get a personal supervisor (a professional from our practice).
  • The term of the contract is six months, with an involvement of at least two days a week.
  • Access to all of PwC’s information sources and materials (including a laptop).
  • Travel allowance in case you do not have a free travel student card (“OV card”).
