Summer 2019 Internship Position – London

We are offering paid full time internship opportunities in the summer of 2019 for undergraduate candidates from leading universities. We have roles for people interested in Data Science and Financial Markets. The position will be based at our London office.

The interns will work closely with teams such as Data, Product and Research. Exact responsibilities will be agreed in discussion with the successful candidate(s) and will include a mixture of day-to-day responsibilities and also longer-term projects. The key areas of focus are:

  • Research on the market, product use cases and industry trends
  • Data analysis and production of client-ready analytical studies from the Credit Benchmark datasets
  • Day-to-day liaising and integration with the core team to complete key priorities

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Penultimate or final year undergraduate candidate at a leading school
  • Excellent academic record (must be on track/attained a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent) and a high level of analytical skills
  • Very strong written and spoken English; additional languages a plus. Ability to work within the EU is required
  • Strong interest in data science, finance and technology
  • Available for 2 months during the summer of 2019

Credit Benchmark, a financial data analytics company, unlocks insights from actual market participants in order to offer an entirely new source of credit risk data​: banks’ aggregated credit views. The company supplies probability of default and loss given default data on sovereign, corporate, bank, and non-bank financial entities by aggregating and anonymizing banks’ in-house credit estimates.
