The Role

  • To provide dedicated support and assistance to the CM Lending Manager (LM) Team progressing Commercial Mortgage and complex BTL applications from Initial Enquiry through to Completion.
  • To liaise with LMs plus Lending Support and Credit on case related matters.
  • To manage ad-hoc reports for Head of Commercial Mortgages and LM Team including Conduct Risk and Business Assurance requirements.
  • The role holder is responsible for dealing with case management on the ACUMEN system, and will also assist in supporting introducer relationships alongside the LMs.
  • Ultimately progressing to source, assess, and manage own cases through the process from Initial Enquiry through to Completion.
  • Delivery of quality data input and management on all cases, ensuring 100% integrity of information quality.
  • Initial assessment and response to initial enquiries with guidance from relevant LM or immediate allocation to relevant LM.
  • Issue Heads of Terms, up load information.
  • Prepare ACUMEN for full Lending Submission to include as required - data entry on case cashflows, undertaking tenant Experian searches, instructing Call Credit as required by LMs.
  • Completion of valuation appraisals for submission to LM or credit.
  • Assessment of PRA criteria for complex BTL transactions.
  • Producing accurate / right first time Offer Letters once case approved by Credit Team.
  • Chasing and diarising Offers Issued for timely acceptance.
  • Obtaining valuation fee quotes and assisting case progression as required.
  • Assessment and recommendation of conditions to credit or lending support pre credit – referral to LM may be required.

The Person

You will ideally have Commercial Mortgage knowledge and experience along with exceptional organisational skills. This role is fast paced and involves liaising with all levels of stakeholders so strong communication skills are essential. You will also have a keen eye for detail and have good all round IT proficiency.
