Role purpose

The Web Analyst is engaging with both external as well as internal clients for whom we design and implement the data collection foundation and utilize it to produce the insights that will support our clients’ growth.

You will work in teams with other experts usually consisting of marketing and media experts, data strategists and consultants, market insights specialists and data visualization experts. In some projects you will work together directly with client teams on a longer term basis as we work towards joint business partnerships with our strategic clients.

Key Accountabilities

Together with our data consultants and insights specialists, you help clients with:

  • Web and media data tracking audit and quality assessments ;
  • Tagging solution design and implementation ;
  • Implementation planning, training and coaching to client technical teams ;
  • Build web analytics dashboards for performance and customer journey monitoring ;
  • Design analysis methodologies in order to solve questions from the clients with an innovative twist ;
  • Produce insights (eg. marketing, digital media and content performance, consumer segmentation) and present recommendations to an audience of marketers and senior management at the client side.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role it is advantageous of you to hold the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Marketing & Data Analytics talent with 2-7 years of relevant working experience ;
  • Affinity with FMCG and food retail and/or CRM based consumer relationships (e.g. banking, insurance, telco, utilities) ;
  • Critical thinking and status quo challenging in order to keep the team’s expertise level high and keep innovating ;
  • Ability to apply web analytics methods and help clients to define success metrics and dashboard visualization (with the help of mock-ups and prototypes) ;
  • Advanced web tracking (event tracking, ecommerce tracking, javascript) ;
  • Master on the Google Analytics platform and/or on other main web analytics platforms (eg. Adobe) ;
  • Experience with audience management and activation (eg. using a DMP or a marketing cloud) ;
  • Experience with clickstream data and how to use it for producing the richest insights (eg. using Google Big Query, SPSS Modeler or other analytical modelling tools) ;
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics methodologies (eg. attribution modelling, marketing mix modelling, econometric models) and creativity in setting up new analysis ;
  • Ability to present findings of complex analysis with simple stories and charts ;
  • Strong in English is a prerequisite, Dutch and/or another global language a bonus.
