As a Trainee within the Data Science Traineeship at ORTEC you will be part of a unique organization and team, pioneering in the field of Data Science!

You as a trainee
During your traineeship, you will be given responsibility early on. You will get the opportunity to acquire more self-knowledge, to develop your passions, and to find out what kind of projects and industries suit your ambitions. The best thing about this is that you are in charge, you decide on which areas you want to advance in.
As a Data Science trainee you gain your energy to work on projects like programming a machine learning model that predicts how many customers will leave a certain insurance company. You will be fully involved in one of our market-oriented teams, to have the opportunity to really make impact in your market(s) and have the benefits of a team by learning from each other and joining social activities. Next to that, as trainee, you also have the advantage of getting some experiences in markets out of the focus area of your team.
As a trainee, you will be mentored by experienced colleagues. Our hands-on training will give you the skills required for the various roles you will play in the various types of projects (i.e. from analytics to optimization, from proof of concept to support). In terms of building your soft-skills, we also provide courses to improve your communication skills, to teach you how to work on projects more efficiently, to improve on your time management, and to build your commercial skills.

During this day, you will get to know our company and our employees and you are asked to solve a case. And, after this day full of learning, new experiences and job interviews, we will offer matching candidates a permanent contract on the spot. It is then up to you to review your contract and sign it when you are ready to boost your career by joining ORTEC. Finish your Thesis first, enjoy a well-deserved vacation or start right away the next month. You decide!
