The role

We are currently recruiting a motivated and confident Tax Trainee to join our Tax Department in our Edinburgh office with a joining date of September 2015. You will work in a friendly and progressive environment, within a team. You will be involved in duties such as preparing and filing tax returns, carrying out manual reconciliation of tax liabilities and liaising with clients over the phone or in person

On the job training

For your ATT and CTA studies, we use first-class tuition centres, alongside our own internally developed technical training programmes, to help you prepare for your examinations. This is supported by our dedicated training team who will monitor your progress throughout your studies. We endeavour to provide a learning experience that is both challenging and rewarding. You will have the chance to grow as well as receive managerial support. You can expect your responsibilities to increase steadily throughout your time with us. Once you have gained some experience, this will entail taking on your own portfolio of clients. As your understanding of taxation issues grows, so will the complexity of your workload.

Candidates should be selfmotivated, display a positive approach to work and have the ability to get things done.
