Introduction

This is a graduation assignment for a master student in Marketing or Business Communications who would like to support the labour market communications department.

Job Mission

ASML’s Communications function has a responsibility to guard and improve ASML’s reputation and employer brand. The Communications function is currently organized in three teams: Corporate (external), Internal and Labour Market Communications (LMC). This assignment is in the LMC team.

Job Description

In the Netherlands the knowledge of ASML as an attractive employer is still limited.

People are not aware of ASML’s global presence. Besides Europe, ASML has offices in the US and Asia. Although the number of people we hire shows a steep growth curve, our brand awareness is low, especially in countries outside The Netherlands. One of the ways to develop our brand is by sponsorships. We would like to develop a more external, international and pro-active sponsorship policy. In this assignment you will investigate what kind of sponsoring (broad range from sports, culture to events) matches with our core values and how sponsoring can contribute to raising our awareness in the markets where we are unknown. The final deliverable will be a report with the research details and a recommendation for our global sponsoring strategy.

Education

You are a Master student in Marketing or Business Communications in your final year, looking for a graduation assignment. You have good communication skills and you are fluent in English. You can work independently, and you are able to think out-of-the-box. This is a graduation assignment for 5 days a week with a duration of 6 months. You can start as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind that we can

only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole

internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.

ASML: Be part of progress

We make machines that make chips – the hearts of the devices that keep us informed, entertained and safe; that improve our quality of life and help to tackle the world’s toughest problems.

We build some of the most amazing machines that you will ever see, and the software to run them. Never satisfied, we measure our performance in units that begin with pico or nano.

We believe we can always do better. We believe the winning idea can come from anyone. We love what we do – not because it’s easy, but because it’s hard.

Students: Getting ready for real-world

Teamwork is key within ASML. Together we form one big team with over 20,000 employees worldwide. These colleagues have 115 different nationalities and work on three continents – Europe, US and Asia.

In this inspiring environment, your colleagues may be sitting next door, or they could be thousands of kilometers away in a different country, or even working for a different company.

An internship at ASML is your opportunity to get to know this world and get a feel for that excites you most.

How will you be part of progress?
