To transfer fundamental knowledge, around the novel fruit crop Honeyberry, into commercial practice through the development of expertise which will have implications in new fruit product development and the creation of new products for customers.

Skills required: To drive and develop a new berry industry and to act as an ambassador for the company by demonstrating the value and application of this new fruit to the current and future grower and customer base. The associate will develop and test growing protocols to optimise crop production and will use cutting-edge analytical techniques to develop, monitor and optimise honeyberry products. Further, the associate will explore and develop the market opportunity for honeyberry products by engaging with production facilities, retailers, funders and other relevant parties. The role covers a wide collection of disciplines and so requires a versatile individual with a quick learning capability, and strong interpersonal skills.
