Job Description

Scope of Position:

The Geo Developer plays an essential role in providing high value technology solutions in support of their Geography’s strategy and operation. They are aligned with and extend corporate headquarters systems development capabilities, and may play many roles throughout the development lifecycle, from analysis to testing and implementation.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute code to business process optimization & automation efforts;
  • Enhance, improve, migrate existing solutions;
  • Translate business needs into essential technical capabilities;
  • Follow the SDLC;
  • Demonstrate clear and concise communication;
  • Work in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science;
  • Focused on Java programming;
  • 0-3 years related experience preferred;
  • Experience with JavaScript web frameworks preferred;
  • Willingness to become a full-stack developer;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effective communication to obtain positive results;
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills;
  • Proficient in IntelliJ IDEA / NetBeans / Eclipse.
