About us

NeoStove is an award-winning Delft based startup building a smart, spacecraft inspired induction cookware with unique value proposition -drastically reduced electricity consumption and cooking time, while having a truly uniform heat distribution for even browning of food. We are funded and supported by the European Space Agency, Netherlands Space Office and the Municipality of South Holland. Our launching customers are commercial kitchens in Delft/Hague.

Internship vacancy

We're looking for a motivated intern to join our R&D team and accelerate the product development of our induction cookware. Intern's goal is to design an induction pan that minimizes heat loss and has uniform heat spreading at the cooking surface for even browning of food.

Intern's tasks: (i) build a thermal model of a conventional pan (ii) validate the model with an experiment (iii) identify concepts to reduce pan's heat loss and improve heat spreading and add it to the model (iv) Report on performance improvement of the concept.

This internship will be fairly compensated.

Required background

  • Current MSc student in mechanical/Aerospace/Applied Physics/Chemistry field
  • Solid background in heat transfer
  • Knowledgeable on or interest to learn heat transfer modeling
