Internship - Administration Purchase Department

Inalfa Roof Systems designs, develops and manufactures sunroofs and open-roof systems for the automotive industry. We are a First Tier supplier for brands as BMW Group, Audi, Volvo, Land Rover, and many others. Inalfa Roof Systems Group is headquartered in Venray (Limburg, close Venlo and the German border with Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf in the area), The Netherlands, and we have a global footprint with facilities in Europe, Asia and the America’s.

The purchase department is led by the Vice President of Purchasing Europe and is divided into multiple disciplines. We have operational and MRO buyers located in the various plants, we have project buyers, commodity buyers and global commodity buyers, mainly located in the Venray plant. The purchasing team is responsible for sourcing and contracting all purchases from direct materials to buildings, IT equipment etc.

As student you will support the department and the buyers with administrative tasks. Next to the direct contact with the purchasing team, you will also have contacts with logistics, quality, sales operations and finance as primary contact for status updates related to purchase related administrative requests. It’s your challenge to perform your tasks with the agreed quality level and within the given time plan.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Proactively maintain supplier data up to date and support new supplier releases;
• Together with the buyer send out supplier mailings, follow up and report status;
• Order departmental requirements, such as subscriptions;
• Document the tasks and processes you are responsible for and suggest improvements.

What do we expect from you:

• You are a 2nd/3rd year Bachelor student in Automotive Engineering, (Technical) Business Administration, Commercial Economy, Communication, International Business;
• An independent working attitude;
• You have good communication skills in word and writing and you also master the English language;
• You have a positive attitude and are customer focused;
• You work accurately and are self-critical.

What we offer you:

• We provide a good prepared assignment and personal support during your internship
• You will receive a fee of €385,00 gross per month (40hrs). Additionally, we provide a travel compensation of up to €130,00 gross per month (based on commuting distance).
