We are looking for a Systems Expert in Process Support within our Integrated Operations organization, in our Business Area Wind.

Process Support provides support to a wide range of business processes within service execution and supply chain management, both within daily operation as well as implementation and development projects.

The team is responsible for ensuring the process and system solution is supported and that users are enabled to execute their roles in the systems, mainly SAP PM/MM.

Process Support provides input to Implementation projects for the standardized process and system solution and enables the continuous improvement of the systems used. The team is gathering the business/process needs which are then developed by IT, in close cooperation with business representatives. Once design and development are completed Process Support is responsible for providing end user training and user instructions to the operational teams.

The Systems Expert role has the full knowledge of maintenance systems solution setup within BA Wind, mainly SAP service execution and supply chain management, as well as onshore and offshore.

Within the Systems Expert team there are four shared roles combined within the same function, System Project Manager, Lead Key User, Portfolio Manager and Implementation Advisor. The Systems Expert will together with the Business Demand Manager lead the implementation initiatives and optimize the way forward in the SAP journey within operational processes.

Key responsibilities and mandate:

  • With the role as System Project Manager, the Systems Expert will be the driver of implementation projects and responsible that the maintenance systems solution setup is applied to the projects. The role will also make sure that required resources from Process Support department will be granted.
  • The Lead Key User role is giving the Systems Expert responsibility for the SAP solution used in BA Wind within the processes for service execution and supply chain management.
  • The role as Portfolio Manager gives the Systems Expert the responsibility, in close cooperation with the Business Demand Manager, to set the portfolio in the right direction towards all stakeholders for Process Support. The Portfolio Manager will have a close cooperation together with IT.
  • Last the role as Implementation advisor for lager projects – Vattenfall as a Top Quartile Operator and a S/4 HANA transition.

Key deliverables and activities:

  • Be responsible for business assessments within project definition phase and initiate change requests if required from business.
  • Connecting multiple stakeholders, such as Finance, Engineering, D1R, IT and site personnel to gather crucial information and support them with the deliverables within projects.
  • Identify potential issues and recommend solutions to any problems that arise during implementation.
  • Be responsible for readiness review and cutover during project execution phase and furthermore the closing activities such as go-live support and handover to support teams.
  • Be part of the International Lead Key Group meetings.
  • Management of the development portfolio, both in regards of planning and execution.
  • Prioritize the different development needs with stakeholders together with the Business Demand Manager.
  • Sprint Management, detailed agile sprint planning.
  • Recommend changes to existing processes based on findings from the analysis phase of an implementation project.
  • Part of the coming S/4 HANA project as the Business Area Wind representative.

Your profile

Required education and experience:

  • Bachelor or master's degree in a relevant field, preferable within Engineering or Scientific discipline
  • At least 6-8 years’ of experience in a similar position
  • Proven skillset within project management
  • Portfolio management skills and high agile skillset
  • High proficiency within daily operations of Operation & Maintenance preferably with the wind industry
  • Expert experience in SAP, especially in the PM and MM modules
  • High proficiency in English
  • Strong problem solving skillset and building relationships with the stakeholder

The location for the position is in one of our main locations Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hamburg, London or Kolding.

The group is to be organized internationally, however currently, most of the employees are located in Sweden.
