Primary Purpose:
Reporting to the Group Information Security Manager, this role is primarily responsible for creating and implementing secure solutions in any project, aligned to the Group Information Security Management System and controls framework. The Engineer should review the requirements of the ISMS by evaluating business needs and technical feasibility to generate deliverables. They must play an active role in implementing security by design, to support project deliverables.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Education & Experience:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, electronics & electricals or any other related field. Ideal looking for a professional with relevant and prior security work experience in manufacturing, industrial control systems and operational technology as well as enterprise IT, but willing to hire candidates with a master’s degree or any specialisation related to cyber security.
A good knowledge of cryptographic security functions, key management methods, operation, interfaces, and environmental specifications is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence of qualifications and experience in implementation and design of Information and OT security standards (ISO27000, IEC 62443, NIST SP or similar) is essential
Work Environment:
This position will perform around 60% of duties in a home office environment where using a computer, software applications, telephone, printer, etc. are essential with 40% travel to manufacturing plants across the globe.
