We are Solarplaza

Continuing to build upon a decades-long legacy, Solarplaza is the central platform for the global solar PV industry and provides those working across national and international markets with the intelligence, resources and networking opportunities necessary to empower their business. We feel responsible for a better tomorrow, and, with each event we organise, we aim to take one step closer to a sustainable future, one which is anchored in renewable solar energy, together. Throughout the years, we have also integrated into our services consultancy, education and a foundation committed to making solar and renewable energy accessible to all. We do all of this from our office in the heart of Rotterdam. We are +35 young, ambitious and highly-motivated people from over a dozen different countries.

Will you become part of our team?

Your role:

  • You oversee the marketing strategy across several different campaigns;
  • You ensure content deadlines are met across departments;
  • You work closely with our Project Manager team to ensure the timeline is met;
  • You manage our Design Team’s output to ensure deliverables are provided;
  • You are responsible for managing our social media channels;*

* We work mostly with LinkedIn, but you are of course welcome to use your expertise to ensure a strategy that will improve performance across all of our other channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

Job requirements

What we expect from you

  • You have excellent communication and managerial skills;
  • You are structured, well-organised and capable of creating overviews;
  • You are able to ensure communication between several departments;
  • You have an HBO/WO degree in the field of Marketing (plus 2-5 years of experience);
  • Preferably, you have a B2B Marketing background;
