Automated Pricing & Trading Technology Team comprises of close to 100 technologists across Copenhagen, Delhi, and Amsterdam.

Our in-house designed and built Saxo Bank Trading System handles:

• More than 25,000 concurrent online trading clients 24 hours per day / 5.5 trading days per week
• More than 160,000 unique monthly users to our social trading portal
• More than 400,000 price feed updates per second
• Intraday execution and booking of up to 2000 trades per second
• Over 1,000,000 trade transactions processed daily
• Front Office Risk Management and
• Automated Market Making

We are on a journey towards loosely coupled systems with micro services and event driven functionality.

In some areas we are quite far, but we still have a long way to go – which means that there is lots of interesting challenges and opportunities.

The job:

The Trading Core Team has the responsibility for the components and services handling the core Business Logic of Saxo Bank’s trading engine and handling Automated Risk handling. In the offered job you will be dealing with the functionality handling especially the Order and Trade Booking Flow and the trading related infrastructure component using multicast technology for synchronization between services and systems. Among other things the systems and services are:

• Performing Business Logic validations of incoming requests
• Handling Order Flow and Order Monitoring
• Handling Trade Registration and Booking Flow
• Handling complex Block Order Flow
• Constituting the trading related low-latency multicast-based infrastructure

The team is distributed between the Headquarter in Copenhagen area and the office in New Delhi area. Currently the team consists of 18 developers in Denmark and 11 developers in India, with various related managers and testers. The team has a good distribution of developers with different levels of age, experience, and expertise. The remote corporation is a real success – it’s truly one team despite (and because of) the geographical distance.

Now we are expanding our geographical footprint and are building a development team in our Amsterdam office – not only for our department, but in other departments too.

The job involves:

• Participation in cross-department projects
• Designing and developing feature enhancements
• Supporting the day-to-day running of our production system and various test environments

List of specifics we are looking for:

• Computer Scientist or Software Engineer
• C# background, preferably server side
• Willingness to take ownership
• An open and collaborative attitude, willingness to be part of constructive professional discussions
• Experience with Azure Devops, Microsoft Release Management and Git

The core developer skills matter, but especially we are looking for candidates with the right mindset and willingness to learn.
