As a Finance Associate, you will be owning key financial tasks which are crucial to the company’s success. Your tasks range from executing critical finance processes to liaising with clients and suppliers on invoicing and payments. This role is very important to us because solid financial processes will help us to scale rapidly!

This is the perfect opportunity for you if you feel comfortable around numbers and if you enjoy doing detail-oriented and analytical tasks. You pride yourself on being well organised and always on top of things. In this role you will work closely with our Operations team that is responsible for our active shipments. There are lots of opportunities to learn and take on more responsibility in the financial processes at Quicargo as we are expanding and growing rapidly.

These are some of the tasks you’ll either own or contribute towards:

  • Responsible for the accounts receivable and payable,;
  • Perform regular AR analysis and reconciliation, including revenue;
  • Debtor management;
  • Issuing invoices;
  • Securing positive cash flow;
  • Improving the accounting/invoicing processes continuously;
  • Support in financial reporting processes (month-end, quarter-end);

Do your skills and background fit our requirements?

  • You have a background in Finance, Economics or Business Administration;
  • You have up to 3 years of work experience in a Finance role;
  • You can communicate excellent (native/C2) in Dutch and are comfortable speaking and writing in English;
  • You have experience with Exact online and know your way around Excel;
  • You have the ability to jump in the deep end, learn quickly and be proactive;
  • You possess excellent organisational skills and you know that the devil is in the details;
  • You are able to manage deadlines, your workload and the expectations of clients, colleagues and suppliers;
  • Work experience in a startup or scaleup is a big plus.
