Graduating at Semmtech offers you the opportunity to get acquainted with consultancy work on a strategic/technical level. Last, your mentor has a background in Industrial Engineering (MSc TU/e) and Strategic Entrepreneurship (MSc RSM).

Although we are fairly flexible with respect to your chosen subject(as long as it is within offshore/shipbuilding domain), these are some suggestions of topics we are mostly interested in:

  • What processes or information in shipbuilding can be standardized/reused?
  • What standardization of information can bring the biggest wins in shipbuilding project management?
  • How can clients and contractors integrate information management on projects?
  • How can model-based information management change the way people work in shipbuilding projects?
  • What is the maturity of information management within the offshore and shipbuilding domain?
  • To what extent does Systems Engineering (SE) need to be standardised within the offshore and shipbuilding domain?
  • To what extent does Product Life Cycle management (PLM) need to be standardised?
