Local Unit & Position Description

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to manage DNV – Supply Chain & Product Assurance (SCPA) divisions digital marketing activities.

This position is based in any DNV Global Location, with preference for a European office. The position will be responsible for developing SCPA’s strategic roadmap for digital marketing.

The Digital Marketing Manager will manage and advance the digital marketing ecosystem and its activities for enhanced digital reputation and relationship building, building a team around them over time.

The SCPA Marketing & Communications unit is tasked with supporting our organization in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient and eco-friendly future; through broadening our reputation as a thought leader and supporting revenue generation. To achieve this goal, developing targeted digital marketing strategies, leveraging marketing automation and collaborating even closer with Sales and Business Development on demand generation and lead nurturing will be key.

The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications and will work to meet business requirements, goals, and KPIs. In addition, this individual will have the overall responsibility to develop a best-in-class digital marketing approach to enable business transformation and sales growth.

The Digital Marketing Manager will have a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Developing, leading and implementing the overall digital marketing strategy in line with the Business Area and DNV Group marketing & communications strategy.
  • Monitoring, developing and utilizing DNV’s channels and touchpoints, incl. webpage structures, email campaigns, social media, SEM (including SEO and SEA), lead management and tracking.
  • Governing regional digital marketing activities.
  • Closely collaborating with Sales on demand generation and lead nurturing.
  • Enhancing the existing KPI framework and marketing performance dashboards, including developing data improvement strategies with acute focus on measurable impact and resulting sales revenues.
  • Engaging in groupwide advisory boards for marketing technology innovation and governance.
  • Anticipating sales and marketing performance trends, staying up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
  • Acting as a key sparring partner for all digital marketing activities to the Growth & Innovation Director and peers.
  • Manage global integrated, multi-channel digital campaigns with smart segmentations to public and customer audiences to achieve set objectives and grow sales.
  • Trusted advisor to Regional Marketing Managers on local campaign development and implementation.
  • Develop a best-in-class, digital user experience across relevant touch points along the entire end-to-end customer journey.
  • Collaborate closely with our Sales and Business Development teams across the globe advising them on demand generation, lead nurturing and lead follow-up to achieve high levels of collaboration and integration.
  • Anticipate sales and marketing performance trends, staying up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
  • Brief and steer digital creative and media agencies.

Position Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Media management, Business Administration or similar
  • At least five years of digital marketing or sales experience in an agency or B2B business environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with marketing automation, SEO, Google Analytics and digital CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience of Oracle Eloqua marketing automation suite, or a comparable alternative platform.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international, virtual team
  • Experience of working within the Supply Chain, ESG or Product Assurance sectors would be an advantage.
