To support our growth and to help us with financial excellence we are looking for a Financial Controller.

Here's what you will do

As Financial Controller, you will become the Stoov® Accounting Superhero who will deliver operational excellence when it comes to accounting, reporting and tax related matters. Your mission is to make sure that accounting, reporting and tax management are complete, accurate, efficient and running smoothly: you are the key person. As Stoov® is growing fast many challenges will cross our path, but most of all: adventures! We need you to be our financial backbone through these adventures. This also means you will continuously spot the opportunities to improve our processes regarding accounting, internal controls and reporting. Balancing efficiency, accuracy and flexibility is key within our current phase.

Of course you’re not in this alone; our financial team consists of a Finance manager, Junior Controller and Finance intern. Don’t let our financial background fool you! We are not your average Finance & Control department. We like to work together with all our colleagues, are proud to explain the figures to them and come up with shared ideas to improve Stoov®’s operational and financial processes. We are at the heart of the business and we love it.

Our dream colleague:

• Has completed a HBO or WO education in Finance/Accounting;
• Has 3-5 years of working experience in finance/accounting or in an accountancy firm;
• Is familiar with ERP systems, Dutch GAAP, tax compliance, internal controls, reporting and automation of processes;
• Has excellent analytical and communicative skills and wants to understand the business in order to organise fitting accounting, internal control and reporting processes;
• Has an entrepreneurial mindset: enjoys a fast paced & dynamic environment and is eager take initiative and to learn and grow;
• Is not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them;
• Has fluency as well in Dutch as in English.
