Currently, we’re looking for an eCommerce Merchandiser within our successful subsidiary located in Weesp (part of Amsterdam), the Netherlands.

In your role as the eCommerce Merchandiser, you will focus on improving the online execution and performance of our brands with additional responsibilities over time to provide objective category advice for our key retailers. You play a key and central role within the Commercial team and will work in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Logistics as well as with regional teams and experts.

What you'll do

Improving online execution & performance of our brands

• Understanding and leveraging key insights to drive our local plans
• Leveraging key materials and activations
• Ensuring execution of optimized premium online content
• Checking that our critical counterparts are executed with key customers
• Testing and evaluating ROI of campaigns for continuous learning and improvement

Over time provide objective category advice for our key customers

• With the help of insights and data propose objective shelf and assortment recommendations to our key customers
• Identify category challenges and turn them into opportunities by understanding the why and piecing together the different parts of the puzzle
• Work with research agencies by gathering new insights and putting them into action in our category vision stories and shelf recommendations
• Continuously look for innovative ways to present our recommendations visually and through storytelling at our customers

To ultimately increase (a) penetration of our brands (b) basket size of our shoppers and (c) loyalty of our consumers

Whoa, this is totally me!

• BS/BA degree or equivalent required
• 2-3 years of digital marketing, content management and analytics experience or commercial experience at an FMCG company
• Agile mindset, able & willing to constantly adapt to changing realities
• Fluent in Dutch is a must, English as well.
• Strong communication skills
• Insights & Analytics: understanding the power of data and eager to dig to get the answer
• Curious to understand the dynamics of eCommerce
• Structured, accurate and efficient in delivering reliable data and insight in a visually appealing way
