The mission of our Price Display & Price Insights Product team is to empower travelers to make smart purchasing decisions & understand the value they’re getting for their money. We’re passionate about building an engaging end-to-end experience that provides customers with consistent and transparant pricing and gives them compelling reasons to book withus again and again.

This role sits with Lodging Product and the Price Display & Price Insights team, where you will facilitate the product design and development of the experience across our traveler products. You will be a key member of an amazing team of Product Managers, working with designers, engineers, product analysts, data scientists, and a broad group of stakeholdersglobally. You get to work on a highly impactful product area end-to-end and design solutions to solve our customers’ problems.

You will partner closely with Product leads across Expedia Group, helpingset priorities for a series of capabilities & APIs, serving customers globally & across brands. You’ll see the results of your work rapidly making a difference for our customers and our business. We organise for speed and we follow the scientific method.

Data Driven:

  • You will create a set of qualitative and quantitative measures to drive performance across an existing product area.
  • You will look for ways and understand how to improve performance of metrics, understanding the interdependency of metrics and metric relationships.
  • You will expand metrics and measurement of the product over time to deepen understanding of business performance.

Customer Empathy/Design Led Thinking:

  • You will generate new ideas for developing deeper customer insights (i.e. new research topics and methods, new data sources, etc.) including ways to better quantify insights and build/utilize feedback loops.
  • You will prioritize customer segments to ensure business value for not just own product line, but broader brand.
  • You will influence peers in team on how to understand customer pain points, develop hypothesis and tests to solve customer problems.

Product Development Lifecycle:

  • You will own multiple, unrelated product areas.
  • Prioritize product investments. Evaluate and recommend options. Articulate strategic objectives for ideas. Clearly define and communicate scope, goals, and objectives for your product area. 
  • You will drive cross-team collaborations with other Product Managersto move projects forward and close on open questions, ensuring that blockers are identified and removed.

Communication, Presentation, and Influencing:

  • You will exhibit storytelling and persuasive influencing techniques that build trust with team and partners and establish long-term relationships.
  • You will proactively contribute to cross team collaboration and leads alignment of work with broader initiatives tailoring messaging to audience and filters relevant communication.
  • You will contribute to events (for example, workshops) to help others develop functional knowledge and acumen, both within and across teams.
  • You will work with numerous stakeholders to holistically define a complex problem space, desired customer and business outcomes and effective solutions.

Who you are:

  • Experience building products where there’s high degree of ambiguityon what to build in order to solve a customer problem.
  • Experience in API Product development, eCommerce or Travelindustries is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functionalteams without formal authority.
  • Bachelor's, Master’s or Equivalent Experience; Technical degree preferred otherwise relevant experience is applicable.
  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and challenges, developing solutions to meet unique business needs and objectives.
