This role will partner closely with the Enterprise Solutions Account Management and Business Development teams, focusing on the largest and most complex partner relationships within Expedia Group’s B2B division.The Senior Business Analyst will have the opportunity to discover business opportunities and deliver incremental value for both EPS and our partners, as well as grow the Expedia Group platform.

This person will have the independence and autonomy to produce insights, new project ideas and optimisation opportunities which will power Expedia’s future commercial and product strategy. Working closely with senior leaders, you will be responsible for presenting your insights to the wider business and partnering with colleagues across Expedia Group to bring these opportunities to life.

As a member of the Expedia Partner Solutions Analytics team, the Senior Business Analyst will work cross-functionally and bring together insights from both the travel supply and demand environment. This entails partnering with a broad spectrum of teams at Expedia Group, such as Sales, Commercial Finance, Strategy and Product. The role will be given the freedom to drive new ways of working and address sophisticated questions innovatively within a diverse, international organisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Grow both Expedia Group and partner revenue by optimising existing, and implementing new, business strategies
  • Collaborate with Business Development teams to translate business needs into compelling analysis to enhance prospective partner pitches
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on the Expedia Group platform to understand key trends and uncover the drivers behind these trends
  • Provide direction on business priorities based on expected opportunity size
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across Expedia Group
  • Evaluate revenue risk for new opportunities and initiatives, developing strategies to mitigate these

Who you are:

You are an analytical, commercially minded individual, energised by finding innovative solutions and driving action on initiatives. You thrive in an international work environment, with exposure to internal and external colleagues across various levels. Plus:

  • Experience in identifying growth opportunities and driving the implementation of solutions to realise them
  • Effective communication skills, presenting quantitative analysis in a targeted and easily digestible format
  • Possess an understanding of revenue drivers and broader commercial environment
  • Demonstrate an ability to collaborate across multiple partners to deliver end-to-end projects
  • Ability to handle and analyse large volumes of data, with 2+ years’ experience working in data-intensive commercial environment
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Powerpoint) and data analysis tools
  • SQL experience preferable. Ideally possess the ability to write SQL from scratch, with a good understanding of databases. If minimal SQL experience, a willingness to learn and gain experience quickly
